A Kingdom of Suffering (Matthew 16:13-28)
This week we look at one of the most controversial passages in the history of the church, but the controversy is actually misplaced. The church has tended to focus on what this passage is saying about church authority and leadership, while the real controversy ought to be how Jesus confronts our own inability to suffer for his sake. How does suffering connect to the Kingdom?
